Wiggly World Series

Color ink on enhanced matte paper, color digital print collage; polyethylene frame  2104 - 2015

Influenced by the writings and recordings of philosopher Alan Watts who professed, "it's a wiggly world," these drawings with photo print collage illustrate imaginary

landscapes of amoebic

shapes perched on floating constructs, including my head and body. With this work I consider organizing principles of human habitation and the precariousness of civilisation. I place myself not as Atlas holding up the world but as one seeking to maintain balance.
